Himachal Pradesh University has released the notification for B.Ed. Entrance Test-2026 for admission to the 2-year regular B.Ed. course for the academic session 2026–28. The online application form can be submitted from 04 April 2026 to 11 May 2026, and the entrance test will be held on 23 May 2026 (Saturday).   • The candidates with at least 50.00 percent marks or 5.01 if CGPA or Grade B if in letter Grade in the Bachelor’s Degree (Medical/Non-Medical/Commerce/Arts) and/or in the Master’s Degree in the Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities/Commerce, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55.00 percent or 5.51 if CGPA or Grade B+ if in letter Grade or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
  • At least 45.00 percent or 4.51 if CGPA if in the letter Grade in case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped categories in the aforesaid Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree and 50.00 percent marks or 5.01 if CGPA or Grade B for Bachelor’s in Engineering or technology from a recognized University established by law in India are eligible for admission in the programme.
  1. An objective type (MCQ) Entrance Test for admission to B.Ed. Course will be conducted by the Entrance Tests Section, H. P. University, Shimla on the date mentioned in the prospectus. The admission to the said course will be made on the basis of merit of marks obtained in the Entrance Test. The minimum qualifying marks in the Entrance Test will be 35 % (i.e. 53 out of 150). In case of SC/ST/OBC/PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED candidates, the minimum qualifying marks shall be lowered by 5 % i.e. will be 30 % (45 out of150).

PROCEDURE OF SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

  • Log on to website www.nadmissions.hpushimla.in and download the prospectus as well as Replica of online application form to read it carefully to understand the eligibility criteria and other requirements for submission of online application. Read the instructions and procedure for online submission of application form carefully.

Before proceeding to apply, please ensure that you have:

  1. Scanned copy of candidate’s recent photograph with following specifications Photograph must be
    passport size colour picture.
  • Photograph must be taken in full face view directly facing the camera.
  • Photograph should have no shadows and red eyes. Photograph should have maximum size of 100kb.
  • Photo form should be *.jpeg, jpg. Photograph file should be saved with name upto 10 characters only.

2. Scanned copy of candidate’s signature with following specifications. Applicant should sign with black ink on a white paper and get the signature scanned.

  • The signature must be signed only by the candidate and not by any other person. This signature has to
    be verified by the invigilator at the time of examination and at the time of Counseling/admission by
    the committee.
  • Signature should have maximum size of 100kb.
  • Scanned signature format should be *.jpeg, jpg only.
  • Signature file should be saved with name upto 10 characters only
  1. Candidates who are filling up the form under the category of Ex-Servicemen/Wives/Wards of ExServicemen/ Wives/Widows/Wards of Defence Personnel should have the copy of the valid certificate of
    the concerned category issued by the competent authorities on the prescribed format as given in the
    prospectus, which is required to be uploaded in pdf format not more than 100kb.

  3. You must give a mobile number in basic details. If you don’t have mobile number, please enter your parent/guardian’s mobile number for any further correspondence/communication in this regard.
  4. All the fields marked with red star are mandatory to be filled up by the candidate.

Complete procedure for filling the ONLINE Application Form.

  1. To access the B.Ed. Online application, candidate have to visit on HPU admission official website
    www.nadmissions.hpushimla.in and download the prospectus to read it carefully to understand the
    eligibility criteria and other requirements for submission of Online application.
  2. Once the applicant visit the HPU University official website applicant sees the Main
    Landing Page as given below:
  1. The ‘Apply for New Admission’ tab displays a comprehensive list of currently available
    application forms. Towards the end of this page, you’ll find two buttons: one for registering as a
    new user, and the other for logging in if you’re already registered. These options enable you to
    seamlessly apply for admission forms. In New Registration user can registered themselves by
    clicking on “CLICK HERE TO NEW REGISTRATION” button.
  2. After Registration, Candidate have to enter the Email/Mobile and Password and enter the captcha and click on login button. After login user will be navigated to pre-admission dashboard.
  3. In pre-admission student portal, student can access all the activities related to pre-admission as below mention:

  • iii) Apply Form
  • iv) Applied Form Status
  • v) Download Admit Card
  • vi) Change Password
  1. In profile menu user can view all details filled in registration form and user can edit student address details. For view profile user have to click on profile menu.
  2. In admission open user can view list of degree’s form open in admission open. User can apply directly by click on apply button.
  3. In apply form user can view list of degree’s wise subject. User can choose subject by click check box and after that click on save button for save subject details.
  4. After that user will be navigated to student application form in personal information section.
  5. In the personal information section, candidates must provide all the necessary details. Certain fields may already be pre-filled based on the registration form and candidates are unable to modify these pre-filled details.
  6. After successfully submitting personal information, candidate will be navigated to Questionnaire section. In the Questionnaire section, candidates must provide all the necessary details.
  7. After successfully submitting Questionnaire details, candidate will be navigated to Education Details. In the Education Details section, candidates must provide all the previous qualification details.
  8. After successfully submitting the education details, candidate will be navigated to document section. In the Document Details section, candidates must upload all the required document. Certain document may already be pre-filled based on the registration form and candidate are unable to modify these pre-filled details.
  9. After successfully submitting document details then user will be navigated to Application Preview section. In the application preview, candidates can view all the details and candidate must need to verify all details after that click on declaration and click proceed to payment button for application payment. After that candidate will be navigated to payment process.
  10. In the Payment section, candidates can pay application form payment by click on payment button. Upon clicking the payment button, candidate will be directed to the Confirm Payment (ONLINE PAYMENT) page, where they will find the following details. Candidate must then choose between the HDFC or UCO bank payment gateways, and they can review their previous payment statuses.
  11. Candidate can pay by using debit card, credit card, Net banking, and UPI and Scan QR code in HDFC payment gateway. Candidate can pay by using debit card, credit card, Net banking, and UPI in UCO payment gateway.
  12. After successfully submitting payment user will be navigated to applied form status.
  13. In the Applied Form Status section, candidates can view the form status, all transaction details,
    and download application form.
  14. Failure to complete any of the step of online Application Form and payment of fee as per requirement of online process, final submission of online application will remain incomplete and unsuccessful all modes of payment of fee.
  15. Generation of confirmation page confirms the correctness and final submission of application form. If confirmation page has not been generated, this means that application has not submitted successfully.
